E-commerce SEO

E-commerce SEO that grows organic revenue for Gulf online stores

Paid ads get more expensive every quarter. Organic search is the one channel where every ranking you win keeps selling for you next month. We help Gulf online stores turn their category and product pages into their most profitable sales channel, in Arabic and in English.

Problems we fix

01

Your categories do not rank

Most Gulf stores leave category pages thin: a grid of products and nothing else. Google has no reason to rank them for high-intent searches like office chairs in Riyadh.

02

Duplicate and filter pages waste crawl budget

Filters, sort orders, variants and tags create thousands of near-identical URLs. Google spends its time there instead of on the pages that sell.

03

Arabic pages are translations, not optimizations

Translated titles miss the words Gulf shoppers really type. The English version ranks, and the Arabic version, where most of the demand is, stays invisible.

04

The theme is slow on mobile

Heavy apps, sliders and unoptimized images push load times past what shoppers tolerate. Core Web Vitals suffer, and so do rankings and conversion rate.

Why e-commerce SEO in the Gulf is different

Search in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain happens in two languages at once. The same shopper may search “office chair” on one day and «كرسي مكتب» the next, and Google treats those as different markets with different competitors. Stores that optimize only one language leave half of the demand on the table.

The competition is also unusual. On many product searches you are ranking against global marketplaces, regional giants and local specialists on the same page. You rarely beat a marketplace on the head term, but you can win the long tail: category plus city, product plus specification, and Arabic phrasing that big platforms translate poorly.

Categories are where e-commerce SEO is won

Product pages come and go with stock. Category pages stay, collect links and rank for the searches with real buying intent. That is why our work starts there:

  • Structure. Every important category and sub-category gets a clean, indexable URL, a clear place in the navigation and internal links from related pages.
  • Content. A short, useful introduction and a buyer-focused FAQ that answers sizing, delivery, warranty and comparison questions, written separately in Arabic and English.
  • Control. Filter and sort combinations that create duplicates are handled with canonicals and crawl rules, so Google spends its time on pages that sell.

Our founder used the same approach for a leading GCC home and furniture retailer, where non-brand clicks grew 178% year over year and top-10 keyword rankings almost doubled, from 25,972 to 49,667.

Platform by platform

  • Salla and Zid: content-led optimization, titles and meta, image weight, category depth and internal links, working within what the platform exposes.
  • Shopify: theme and app bloat, collection and tag duplication, structured data and hreflang for bilingual stores.
  • WooCommerce and Magento: faceted navigation, crawl budget, server speed and full control of templates.
  • Custom builds: rendering, JavaScript SEO and developer-ready tickets your team can ship.

What working together looks like

You get one senior point of contact, a 90-day roadmap ranked by revenue impact, and a monthly report that shows organic revenue, not just rankings. We write the tickets for your developer or platform, write and upload the content, and check every change live before we report it as done.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with Salla and Zid stores?

Yes. Salla and Zid give you less control than a custom build, but a lot can still be done: category descriptions, product content, titles and meta, image optimization, internal linking, structured content and store-level settings. We tell you upfront which fixes the platform allows and which need a workaround.

Should we write content for every product?

Not always. For large catalogues we prioritize the categories and products with the most demand and margin, then scale with templates that stay unique enough to rank. Writing 5,000 product descriptions by hand is rarely the best use of budget.

How do you measure success?

Non-brand organic clicks, rankings for your money keywords and, most important, organic revenue in GA4. We agree the KPIs before we start and report against them every month.

Will SEO replace our paid ads?

It should reduce your dependency on them. Most stores we talk to want organic to carry a bigger share of revenue so every riyal spent on ads works harder. SEO and paid search also share data, so each makes the other better.
