The challenge
XPRS is a Shopify storefront selling Apple products and accessories as an Authorized Premium Reseller, run alongside its sister brand Tradeline Stores. At the start it had close to zero organic traffic. It was competing for the same product searches as established electronics retailers and marketplaces, and every sale depended on paid campaigns or direct traffic.
A new store in a crowded category has two problems at once: Google has no reason to trust it yet, and every page it publishes risks competing with bigger sites that already rank.
What was done
- Category and product architecture. Collections and product pages were structured around high-volume search demand, so the pages people actually search for had a clear, indexable home and internal links pointing to them.
- SEO aligned with merchandising. Priorities followed sales: the categories and products that mattered most commercially got optimized first.
- On-page and content. Titles, descriptions, headings and collection content were written for buying searches rather than generic product names.
- Crawl efficiency. Site architecture, XML sitemaps and robots.txt were refined so Google spent its time on the pages that sell.
- Performance. Core Web Vitals and mobile usability were improved to support both rankings and conversion.
The results
The organic channel grew from near zero to more than 60,000 monthly visits, a 790% increase in total organic traffic. Peak monthly non-brand traffic reached 54,200, keywords ranking in positions 4 to 10 grew 345% and top-3 rankings grew 85%.
Most of that growth came from non-brand searches, meaning new customers who found XPRS through Google without knowing the brand first. That is the kind of growth that lowers acquisition cost for every month that follows.
What this means for your store
If your Salla, Zid or Shopify store gets most of its sales from ads and direct traffic, the same approach applies: build category pages that match how Gulf shoppers search, stop duplicate pages from wasting crawl budget, and make every product page complete. A new or young store can build a real organic channel within months.
